Selling a very nice example of the first year XS650 - this is the one everybody wants. I bought this bike from the original owner in almost the same shape you see it here now. the tank had paint that was peeling so I stripped it to see what it needed for paint and found it to be very nice - there is a dent up front right side. This bike runs like a top starts easy. cold or hot - 1 kick or 2 - very nice. All lights work. horn works. brakes and trans are perfect; bike idles and runs so good. Overall condition is good; there are some spots of pitting on chrome here and there but nice looking bike. Would be a great rider or an easy resto project. it's got such a good base. I'm pretty sure all the rare pieces for the 1st year bike are present and in good shape. I like this bike as will the new owner she's a gem.
