1979 Yamaha Daytona Special

I purchased this bike new at Earl's cycle center in Michigan Center,Mi. I wanted it with no miles, ut the dealer insisted he had to ride it to complete dealer set up requirements. Yea, ight. I have kept it in warm dry storage (living room) for most of it's existence except for a few years in my unheated garage. It acquired some surface rust on the bottom of the pipes (minimal, so back in the living room.It is in unbelievable condition for 36 years. Showing a pic of a spot on the front fender. About the extent of the blemishes. The bike looks like new, s it should. It would be nice if all that are interested could stand next to this bike. It's like being in the showroom. I am sure there are not many left in this unmolested condition. So if you want a fine example of Yamaha history then this may be you opportunity to own it.I could go on and on about this bike, ut I am sure you know what it is, nd what it represents. Good luck.
