2001 YAMAHA XQ 125 BLACK

Hi and welcome.

This auction is for a 2001 Yamaha Maxster.

The Bike is in a used but useable condition.

The good points are:

MoT until Sept '15. everything works as it should. the tyres are good. cheap to run and insure with it being a 125. the displayed mileage is 10. 55 which is in kilometres so the mileage is 6. 47 approx. I do have a few spare bits and bobs that I will include in this auction. (I will get them together and post a photo)

The bad points are:

The seat tub is broken were the seat hinge is. this however does not affect the bike or the ride and the exhaust is a little rusty. but is not leaking or blowing. I don't have any service history. however I have looked after this bike whilst I have had it. There are a few scratches around the bike but nothing major.

On the MoT there were two advisories which were that the brake pads are getting a little low. however I have ordered some and these will be fitted by the time this auction ends. the other was that the front fork legs are starting to 'mist' so these may need attention at some point.

I will also service the bike before the auction ends so that the new rider doesn't have to worry about this until the next interval.

Now the T&C's. I have tried to be as honest as I can. This is a used bike which is 13 years old so don't expect a show room example. There is no warranty. nor is a warranty implied. (sold as seen) Any inspection is welcome via prior arrangement. however test rides will only be allowed with a deposit. Cash on collection is preferred. however other options are available. The winning bidder will receive the keys and the V5 will be signed over upon the receipt of cleared funds. The winning bidder is expected to make contact within 48hrs of the auction ending to arrange collection/delivery. which should be completed within 5 days of the auction ending. Many thanks.
