1981 YAMAHA BLACK

Yamaha XJ 550 ' Cafe Racer ' this bike was built from the frame up by the previous owner . he is a motorcycle mechanic and has paid a lot of attention to the finish of the bike . it is fitted with a FZ600 engine which improves the performance from the standard engine .  As you can see the bike has been modified to gain the cafe racer look . the standard exhausts have been cut to create a much cleaner look . they are fairly loud ! Clip on bars lower the riding position . smaller indicators . rear sets and modified seat / rear all add to the overall look . The bike was recently tuned on a rolling road so runs smoothly . The bikes bodywork is in great condition generally . some of the factory paint on the brake calipers and fork brace is showing its age and there is some wear and tear around the ignition and gear lever .
