Description

1998 Yamaha TW200 Hate to sell but I won't be riding in the immediate future do to health stuff. Somebody else should be enjoying it. Gently ridden bike that has seen rain a couple times but has been stored in a garage. Mileage: 6489Engine: Oil changed every 1k. Base gasket was changed just after 3k miles when it started weeping oil. I did it myself with the upgraded and improved gasket. No more leak.             This is my third tw200 and base gaskets all needed to be done at low mileages. Wheels: 12" for the pit bike look. Chrome is top notch. Front and rear tires were originally supposed to be with the bigger tire on the rear but they got it reversed when             they were mounted. I left it like that. Front tire has good tread and rear is getting down there. Frame:  Front Fender is custom and chromed out. On freeway runs the front tire will rub the center of the fender and leave a sprinkle of rubber. It wipes right off.             Custom Chrome rack on rear that will hold a good amount of weight. Kickstand has been shortened to account for smaller wheels.             Cruiser style handlebars with nice mirrors that dont vibrate on the freeway. Wasn't sure I would like the bars at first but quickly appreciated the comfort. Exhaust: Supertrapp. the best sounding muffler I have ever heard on these bikes. nd its tunable. Around town it is awesome but on the freeway its too loud without ear plugs. Sprockets and chain: Sprocket sizes are 15/40. Stock gearing was 14/50. The current gearing is similar to running 15/47 with taller stock wheels.                                 Has a brand new less than a mile on it mid grade non o-ring chain on it. Sprockets have about 3. 5k miles on them but are in ok shape still. Electrical and other stuff: Tachometer is an mmb nova from Germany. Really nice to have and accurate. Wish I could capture the brightness of the blue light with my camera.                                       Windshield is an early model blue Jimboshield. Battery is a small cheap one and is almost two years old. Won't crank the electric start anymore so                                        I have been kickstarting it.                                        Low beam is burnt out on the headlight. They all burn out like that. High beam doesn't bother oncoming drivers and you can actually see at night. Title in hand and I have 2 Keys. a tool kit. small owners manual. original rear sprocket and I think that is about it. Email any questions and I will get back with you ASAP. Joe
