APRILIA SONIC GP

This Aprilia Sonic GP scooter is available for sale here at our showroom in Ilkeston. Derbyshire. The scooter is believed to be a 2000 year model but has never been registered or used on the road. It was discovered in storage at a prominent dealership and is thought to have been used by Aprilia as a pit bike during the 2000 racing season. probably at rounds of the Aprilia RS125 Superteens championship. Riders in the series that year included the eventual championship winner Casey Stoner. The scooter is finished in an unusual neon yellow and purple colour scheme.

Unique paintwork

This colour scheme is not listed in the Aprilia catalogue for 2000 and I personally have never seen another one this colour!

Electrical items & instruments all working with no warning lights showing.

Controls (levers knobs etc) all adjusted correctly.

Low mileage - 154km = 97 miles

This cannot be verified but there is no indication that it has been altered.

The scooter is known to have been in storage and unused for many years

Low general wear and tear & corrosion levels.

VERY IMPORTANT

This scooter is being offered for sale UNREGISTERED. If you wish to use it on the roads you must contact DVLA and go through the registration process. We can advise on this but registration and inspection fees etc. are not included in the auction price. Alternatively you can take the scooter away in a van or on a trailer and register it yourself.

Bad Points

There is a scratch on the nose which was sustained during its long time in storage
