1978 Maico 400 Back yard find.

Very very low time on this 1978 400 Maico. Original owner said he only rode it a few times and it didn't run right (probably rich)so he pulled the carb off and then never got around to fixing it. It then sat in his back yard for 30+ years. I intended to restore it but I have no time. I got the tank done but that's as far as I got. Kicks over and has good compressionnice spark. Transmission shifts good into all 5 gears. The clutch disengages good.I believe it is all original. Buyer to arrange pick up or shipping. I will carefully package and crate in a strong forklift ready plywood crate for $300. Sold as is. A small amount of rust on the left fork tube. Steering head bearings need replacing. Wheels roll good. I would guess the brake shoes have next to no wear. There is still paint on the foot pegs and brake which indicate very little use. No title. No silencer. Air boot missing.Excellent core bike fora complete restoration. Happy bidding!
