1990 R 100 GS

Up for sale is a very close to stock condition 1990 BMW R100GS. This is the last year for the US market with the smaller round headlight that began in 1981. Bike is unmolested. Non stock is an extension to the muffler (tip) so heat / exhaust goes away from the turn signal.  Original tool kit. Brand new diode board. solid mounts and regulator; the charging system is properly working. Gearbox overhauled at the dealership before my purchase. receipt available. Also as add on has the BMW original RPM gauge that was purchased as an extra.  No luggage / rack. Second owner. I purchased the bike that was on consignment at a dealership at the time.  Pink slip on hand. valid registration until September 2015. The purchaser of the bike will get a brand new spare set of EBC organic brake pads. Galfer steel braided brake line and a NOS BMW clock. A brand new set of BMW grips will be available too. As of now 44951 original miles on it. I would prefer to sell the bike locally. In my opinion the bike could be ridden across country if necessary.  At the moment own 5 of these boxers and been riding for 40 years. keep my machines with proper maintenance.
