BMW K1100LT WHITE 1999

BMW K1100LTIC. Ex Surrey Police.  102000 Miles.  Mot till June 29th 2015I have used it for commuting for 4 years. Selling as I have treated myself to a much more modern bike.  This bike runs really well but a new owner may want pay it some attention cosmetically. It has been used all weathers and washed rarely. There are scuffs here and there but all panels are in tact. I was thinking of doing a cafe racer conversion as they look good with this model. but with the best will it the world I wont get it done. Though it has scuffs and knocks here. its never been crashed that I know of. The panniers are both cracked but function perfectly well. I don't put anything in them that is not in a bag to keep it dry. Adjustable screen not working. Front tyre 50% remainingRear Tyre 75% remainingBoth Bridgstone. Strangly the ABS works well and always has. I think this is because the bike has been in very regular use. There are a few quirks with the bike listed here :-The key ignition broke so I have bypassed it with a switch in the glove box. Therefore someone could easily pinch it if they know where the switch is. The fuel filler barrel is broken. I now open the fuel cap by unlocking it with a screwdriver. (see pic)The seat is ripped so I covered it with duct tape. (I have the original single seat conversion in good condition which the buyer can have if they want). As you may tell from reading this. I was never bothered about the cosmetics of the bike as it was just a commuter.  But it starts every time. runs well and never let me down. Has a strong engine and gearbox.  New Battery. I am starting this at 99p with no reserve so it will go for the final price. Winning bidder.  please don't come and expect perfection and start haggling.
