1953 BMW R 25/2 vintage motorcycle 250cc single

This is a 1953 BMW R 25/2 with matching plate/engine/frame vin#. I have all the paperwork tracing it back to Germany through all its owners. And receipts of all the work done to it. I have been slowly restoring it for the last 8 years but its time to pass it on to another enthusiast. It has a recently completely rebuilt transmission done by cycle works. It has almost all the rubber and cables replaced with new old stock replacements from Germany. The engine has been completely disassembled and cleaned. including the slingers. All new gaskets placed. The carburetor also. The bike is not ready for Pebble Beach yet though. Its could use a fresh pain job and some fine tuning to make it run smoother. There are some chips that have been treated with clear coat to prevent rusting. The gas tank was treated too but there are some light areas of rust around the gas cap. Some tarnish to the chrome and a few small blemishes. This is a 62 year old motorcycle and runs like the grandpa it is. I ride it around the neighborhood without any problems but don't expect it to be a daily commuter. This rare and beautiful motorcycle needs a vintage BMW owner who will continue the work I started and one day display this bike for all to admire. I will include several shop repair manuals as well. The bike also has a clear Florida title and is ready to go. Please do not bid if you are not serious about purchasing this motorcycle!!!!! This will be the third time I have to relist this due to irresponsible bidders.
