1974 BMW R90/6 Low mileage Beautiful Airhead

1974 BMW R90/6 ** Black large tank ** Very nice not restored condition (41 year old motorcycle) ** Well cared for classic BMWPaint and hand painted pinstripes are very nice on gas tank no dents a few small scratches in the paint on top of the tank at the very front near the steering friction adjuster knob (probably from removing the tank without first removing the knob). These scratches are not very visible and only seen upon close inspection. Some minor scratches in the paint on the front fender. The chrome on the engine guards show wear. Euro handlebars. The seat has some cracking in the vinyl on the top of the seat. Original BMW toolkit.I have had this motorcycle in my collection for several years and have ridden it a few times each summer on short rides and it has always performed well. I am the third owner and the previous two owners were adult owners and had all the maintenance work at a BMW dealership. The previous owner had the starter (a weak point for these motorcycles) and the clutch replaced by the BMW dealership also. The neutral switch for the electric start needs replacement so the clutch lever must be pulled in to use the electric start. This works well and has always been this way since I have owned the bike.This motorcycle shows and runs very well. It has not been detailed and could be even better. Remember this is a 41 year old motorcycle not a new one. The battery is weak and will need replacement soon.The motorcycle is also offered for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early.
