1972 BMW R75/5 Toaster Tank Sidecar Combination BEAUTIFUL, Original Paint

  What is for sale is a very nice Toaster Tank R75 with a velorex sidecar.   This very low mileage bike has it's original Curry color and factory pinstripes . very desirable among /5 enthusiasts. The sidecar was set up correctly and handles like a dream. I've had the combo up to 75 mph with my girlfriend in the chair and it surprised her when I told her how fast we were going. This combo was just serviced with new oils in engine. tranny. driveshaft and final drive.

  This bike is fitted with an early Vetter fairing and vintage Bates saddlebags that are in great condition. The original seat has 1 small tear under the drivers left leg (see pics). Everthing works as it should except the tach. I would really like to keep this combination but I don't need 5 sidecars so my loss is your gain.

  The original tool roll and kneeling rag are also included in the sale. The previous owner found paint to match and had the sidecar body painted to match the bike and whoever did the painting did a nice job. There are very few imperfections in the original paint bike or the sidecar.

  The reserve is set at what I've seem nice solo toasters sell for but I think it a shame to separate these two. Those wanting to kick tires please use restraint.
