Description

I have a lot of time, ffort and money into listing this motorcycle on ebay. Please be respectful of that and do not bid until you have read the entire description/terms of the auction and are certain that you intend to follow through with the sale. Your bid is a contract to buy.
I have the listing set up to accept bids only from US bidders in an effort to prevent scammers from ruining my auction. If you are a legitimate bidder outside of the US and you have a way to have the bike picked up at my location without it being crated, et me know and I will add you to the list that allows you to bid.

This bike is in really nice shape overall. It is incredibly clean. The paint shines really nicely but it does have the little stone chips and some scratches that you would expect from a bike with 62,000 miles. The right side panel is cracked at the rear and is held on with a rubber band. These are all shown in GREAT detail in the pics below this description. Keep in mind that I have zoomed in on every little flaw so that you know exactly what you are buying. As a result, he bike actually looks a lot nicer in person. It has the BMW factory comfort seat, BS brakes, eated grips, lectronically adjustable windshield, hrottle lock (cruise control), nd factory stereo system. The stereo needs the code entered for it to work. The code card is included but the keys on the stereo are a little confused. Each one is like a rocker switch that is supposed to give you one number when pushed on one side and another number when pushed on the other side but they are sometimes entering the number for the opposite side when pushed and I haven't been able to enter the code successfully. They are probably just a little dirty inside and need some exercise or maybe some contact cleaner. The bike runs and rides beautifully, ut it needs two things. The cooling fan is not kicking on when the temp goes up. It's not an issue on a cooler day, ut you'll want to take care of it before riding it on a warm day. The engine has not been overheated. The other issue is the rear brake pedal feels stiff and so the rear brake feels weak. It got an oil and filter change and new tires front and rear less than 1,000 miles ago. So a couple of minor fixes and she'll be tip-top. It's really a wonderful bike to ride. BMW sure knows how to make a bike handle and stop well. Even a large-ish touring bike like this is razor sharp. And they improved the rubber mounting of the pegs and handlebars for the K1100 series, o all that wonderful power is glass smooth. The shifting and clutch action is nice and smooth, oo. This bike just loves to gobble up the miles. Point it toward the other side of the country and press "go!"

There are many pictures below detailing the condition of the bike. Please look at all of them carefully and ask any questions you have before bidding. You can call me at 773-474-1744 or contact me through ebay.
