BMW Sports Tourer with original panniers.

This bike is very clean and tidy as you can see from the pictures. It is very capable in its touring role and has taken me to the Alps and Pyrenees twice since I became the owner. It has been regularly serviced and maintained by me during my ownership and there are plenty of historical service records with it - before my time. It can't claim a full BMW dealership history but you can see / hear it run and make your own mind up. I bought the bike from Bath Road Motorcycles. Bristol. 30th March 2012 and am now downsizing to an F800 GS.  This year I had the final drive re-furbished by James Sherlock. BMW specialists in South Molton Devon. This year also had fitted new Michelin Pilot Road 3 tyres and they have many thousands of miles left in them. Also this year Goodridge brake lines were fitted to the front and rear brake hydraulics along with new brake fluid of course. My maintenance log reads. In the back of the Haynes Manual. 24000 - New alternator belt fitted by Bath Road Motorcycles.  30000 - New oil filter. air filter. fuel filter. spark plugs. oil changed in final drive (80W/90) gearbox (80W/90). engine 20/50 semi synthetic. 31500 - Engine oil and filter change32050 - Throttle bodies balanced 33000 - New rear pads and brake lines34072 - Sytrax long life 75/90 installed in final drive and gearbox 34233 - Final drive crown wheel input and output bearings replaced. engine oil and filter. 37064 - Castrol power 10/40 engine oil and filter change. cam chain tensioner renewed. Goodridge front brake lines fitted / bledLast MOT states Front and rear roller brake test indicates slight fluctuation of brake effort. I have the receipts for most of and parts which can be viewed if you want to see the bike. If you fancy a bit of cheap BMW touring this could be the bike for you.
