Hi. and welcome to the sale of my beloved bike. This is the BMW R1200GS. I have had this bike for over two years and it's served me well and quite simply been the best bike I have ever had. It's a 2005 model and was yellow when I bought it. I've had it painted silver and finally red whilst i've had it. It has got loads of extras. these include: Full luggage. top box and panniers (painted to match) Tank bag and rear seat bag (BMW tank bag) Tinted adventure touring screen (also have the smaller clear screen) Tinted lower side screens (stop the wind hitting your chest) Full crash bars in black. Spot lights Gel seat with matching red trim (original seat also available) Clear indicators Clear LED rear light LED running light (like the new GS's have)This bike has been serviced by myself every 3000 miles. and I have also carried out a number of large jobs on it too (this bike has never wanted for anything)This August before a trip around Europe I completed the following work: New pair of Metzler Tourance tyres New clutch fitted New crank seal fitted New counter balance shaft seal fitted. New front and rear gearbox shaft seals fitted. New clutch slave cylinder fitted New clutch push rod seal fitted. New front and rear drive shaft gaitors. New oil in gearbox and final drive New brake fluid and new clutch fluid. All the above work was carried out before a trip I did this summer around Europe. down through France. across Italy and back up through Germany. Quite simply I have looked after this bike with now expense spared. to make sure it would never let me down. The only fault on the bike. is the rear light warning light is on as it thinks the bulb is out due the LED rear lights. This can be sorted by fitting a resistor but i've never got round to it. But I've still got the original rear light if that bothers you. The bike is MOT'd until March and the Tax is up at the end of this month (but due to the new tax rules you'd have to tax it yourself)Any questions or viewings. feel free to contact me on 07793950434. Steve
