2005 BMW R 1200 GS R1200GS Really nice example! 1 owner, low miles, and VGC too!

OVERVIEW:Very nice 1 owner GS in excellent condition.  A bit short on service history. but really due to lack of use in the last few years. Long MOT and ready to ride. Basic specification  but a nice genuine bike. and only 15k miles!No reserve sale from the first bid.

SPECIFICATION AND EXTRAS:

ABS. Heated grips. hand guards. cylinder head protectors.

SERVICE HISTORY:

Couple of annuals. but nothing very recent recorded. Has had some recent work I think. but no bills or invoices.

I would do an annual now. then oil and filter and checks at 18k which will be back on track.

FAULTS AND ISSUES:

Nothing much at all. Some wear and marks. and the usual fastners. Front cover is going. but overall not bad. Please see the pics.

RIDE:

Very good. all works as it should. and rides very well. Feels as it should for a bike of this low mileage.

CONCLUSIONS AND SALE INFO:

A very nice example. if a bit light on extras and history. It is as good as you might hope for the age and miles. and has obviously never had a hard life. Bike is all original and has ahd no cosnetic work at all. a very genuine and honest bike.

Great value. Selling from the first bid with no reserve.

I am located in the south west. close to the A303. the M3 and about an hour from Bath. Bristol and Southampton. 2 hours/90 miles from London. I am also convenient for a mainline railway station with direct services from London Waterloo and I would be happy to collect you from the local railway station if you wish to travel here by train and then ride the bike home.

I am happy to discuss delivery if this helps - for a fee - as I have a pick up truck or to advise on collection services.

I am selling this bike as a TRADER and I do this as my full-time occupation. with 20+ years experience in the trade. The bike IS NOT registered to me but will be on a dealer S. O. R. N. Most of my stock is purchased directly from official dealers. so the bikes have been checked by the dealer as well as myself. I will always ride and check the machines myself before sale. and they are fully able to be ridden home. unless otherwise noted in the ad. It may not have any tax . but there is a Post Office a few minutes from the house if you need/want to tax it.

I have a very fine professional mechanic friend who does work for me. so anything done on the bikes is by an expert.
