BMW R27 250cc 1965

For sale is my late fathers R27. It's been in the family for 10 yrs after my father imported it from Germany(I guess they all were) It has an age related 1965 C plate. It's in a really nice. unrestored condition with a few chips and marks. but a really nice patina. The silencer is excellent. the downpipe a little dull as are the wheel rims. but not rusty. The headlight has some paint chips. It was last on the road in 2011 but did very few miles due to the battery going flat. I've just fitted a new battery and voltage regulator and it charges perfectly. The carb has also been cleaned and a new petrol tap fitted. It's had an MOt this week and runs really well. I've not yet taken it off SORN though. but is obviously free to tax(although it won't have a tax disc). It is a very unusual but in its own way pretty cool bike. You may come and have a look but no test rides. Sorry. I love ebay but it brings out the worst in some so. just to be clear. I've set a reserve but won't tell you what it is. I won't end the auction for stupid offers. I will only accept cash as payment but would like a £100 deposit via paypal within 24hrs of the auction ending. You bid to buy. not haggle.
