Very much at ease in daily traffic as well as RTW adventures. this great condition bike is the one.  *****Having had one careful owner I would say it is in show room condition with only very minor signs of wear and tear. It has been used only on road and garaged every night. Fully serviced by BMW the bike has already had the valve clearances done and just fitted with a new pair of Michelin ANKEE 3 which are the best and retail at £240 RRP. MOT till Sep 2014. Just at ease going on a RTW expedition or simply commuting. this bike is fantastic. and very very friendly. For those of you looking at the supposedly big brother. the GS800. think again as the F650 GS has more usable torque below 4. 00 RPM which makes it faster in most circumstances. is lighter and also has a lower centre of gravity giving you a steady footing for extra safety. To add to it's agility the 19 inch front wheel gives better grip and response on the road and is also safer as it is tubeless.  This bike will easily cruise at 100mph all day. and on my last 160 mile run of 90mph motorway. A and B roads. as well as bumper to bumber traffic. it returned an average 79 MPG. On A and B road 40 to 60mph cruising it will return 85 MPG. As for those of you wondering which screen to chose. and which one works best. this bike comes with the BMW Standard screen which is the best as it gives clean wind with no buffeting as at all. so no tapping sensation on you helmet and blurred vision. I have tried the Givi touring screen. and at 5' 9'' in hight the buffeting was terrible. I then tried the super expensive BMW Touring screen and still no air bubble. but simply less buffeting than Givi but lots of air from shoulders upwards. Best thing is to keep it stock and add one of those adjustable Vario Lips/Extenders. Just thought I would share my experience. This model comes with no ABS as standard. which means no extra weight. no extra electronic components to go wrong. and last but not least it means that you will be 100% in control of the bike. So don't be fooled by the glossy brochures and breaking tests reports. ABS may have its benefits. but on anything less than 4 wheels I would like to know that I will be the only judge when breaking and still convinced I can come to a halt in a shorter space without that death feeling when the ABS kicks in and releases the from wheel brake just a bit more. For those of you instead thinking of venturing to distant lands with poor roads if any. or simply green laning in Surry you will have to turn the ABS off.  I also have the Original BMW plastic sump guard which will be included with the bike.  Milage might be slightly higher buy the time the auction ends.
