CJ750 M1S OHV Solo Motorcycle Chang Jiang 750 BMW R66 R71 R75 M72 Ural Dnepr

 This is my CJ750 Solo Motorcycle which has approximately 600 miles on it and is always garage kept. The bike is in great mechanical shape and I meticulously maintain it. The bike has an Over Head Valve engine rated at 32Hp with high performance pistons. The bike has a High Speed Ring & Pinion installed (standard ratio for the original BMW R71) and I installed the correct ratio drive gear set to ensure the speedometer registers correctly. The frame is set up for a sidecar which you have the option to install however I have only ever ridden it solo. I spent last winter completely rewiring it using Cloth Braided Premium US made Wire with a custom made Asphalt Cotton Braided Wire Loom & Stainless Wire Ties. During the re-wiring process I also replaced the OEM ignition switch with a quality Emgo ignition switch which is a perfect fit. The bike has been converted to a standard 1157 tail light socket and bulb and I installed high quality indicator lights in the headlight nacelle. There is a red generator light and a green neutral indicator light as well which comes in handy and which you don't often see on these bikes. I installed BMW Hella type bar end turn signals doing away with the awful looking turnsignals these bikes are normally offered with. I have replaced nearly every visible nut and bolt with premium hardware. and everything was carefully measured to ensure only the proper size replacement hardware was used. I installed many new parts including New Carburetors. Genuine BMW R67 Intake Pipes. New Duro 4. 00 x 19 Tires with Heavy Duty Inner Tubes. BMW Alternator Stator with New Brushes & New Rectifier. The engine came with a nice aftermarket deep oil sump and I then installed a beautifully made Dan Cason oil pump pickup extender to the high volume oil pump. Kick & electric start. hand or foot shifted. There are new European made Clutch & NOS Speedometer Cables installed. European made BMW air cleaner and a German made Stainless Steel Side Stand. New premium Seat Rubbers. NOT the standard thin ones most often seen. Completely rebuilt suspension front and rear including new springs. fork bushings. seals. bumpers. rear spring tubes. etc. All brand new. Frame was recently blasted & powdercoated. I didn't want to add reflectors to the bike but I did use black 3M adhesive reflectors on the frame which are visible in the photos. These can easily be removed if desired. Genuine BMW Drivers Chrome Seat SpringNew dual Emgo Fuel PetcocksI installed new Tapered Steering Bearings. Bosch Spark Plugs with custom German made Plug Wires & new Dynatek ignition coil. There are many many interchangeable parts between this and vintage BMW motorcycles and I have used original BMW parts when available. I bought the bike solid black and had an old hotrod friend of mine pinstripe the parts as shown. The paint is several years old and has minor chips. blemishes & scratches here and there specifically on the top of the fueltank but overall the bike is very presentable. This bike is in great mechanical shape and has been very reliable. This bike was previously titled and registered in the state of VA and I have it titled & registered in my name here in NJ as a 1982 CJ 750 so transferring it to another state should not be any problem whatsoever. Second to last photo shows the stainless steel point cap I installed and had engraved with "Chang Jiang 750" in a 'chopsticks' font for fun. The original black plastic cap is included as well. Last picture shows specific tools . spare points. pillion seat & manual that come with the bike. I also have the original Chinese registration in the blue wallet and a number of new and spare parts I can throw in when you pick up the bike.
