IBAN TRANSFERS ONLY. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I HAVE A NORTON 500cc motorcycle. selling for my father who no longer require. hes owned for 5 yrs. the v5 is present. there is no mot but obvisly its a pass through post office counter due to the year which is 1949. t is not on its original number plate as its age related. it is not a transfererable number. all gears work fine along with the clutch. the brakes and lighting work fine along with the suspension [road holders]. the tyres look good. the engine starts easy enough with the right knack. theres no knocking or unforeseen noises. it as the original rear guard. and a good solid rear stand. old vintage speedometer working fine. I have recently cleaned the ignition pick up and new plug. carberetter as been cleaned along with fuel tap. engine as had new fluids. there is a cut of valve for engine oil [anti sump] a good solid fuel tank with very good paintwork. good solid front /rear guards. benefits from road holder forks. a nice free revving throttle. im not 100% sure on model. I believe its a ES2. although a few people over the years have said its a model 18. [any info would be good]. the documentation is a v5c. and a few old mot certificates no other history or paper work although the previose owner was a Norton fanatic who had a good collection of nortons including 2x 500t trials. this is all the information I have off hand.
