BMW R100GSPD R100 GSPD Excellent Original Condition 1994

Very Nice R100GSPD that is in Exceptionally Original and Unmolested Condition. 31. 99 MilesSame owner for past 15 years. Always garaged and carefully maintained. Ready to ride to Alaska.   Other than replacing tires. batteries. and a bulb or two since I purchased the PD in 1999 from whom I understand was the original owner in Carlisle PA. I do not recall it needing anything other than regular maintenance.  The PD has: heated grips; BMW saddlebags with original chrome mounts; locks that are keyed (same one key fits all saddle bag locks. ignition. seat lock. and gas tank compartment); original BMW rear gear rack for use with the single seat/saddle; original BMW tools with pouch and tire repair kit that came with the PD when new (see photos); accessory outlet; original BMW red single seat/saddle that came with the PD when new (nice shape); original BMW two up seat/saddle that came with the PD when new (lightly used/very nice shape); Parabellum windshield (great shape); and newer tires. Extras include: Corbin leather single seat/saddle (fairly new/lightly used/very nice shape (now cost $343)); extra Parabellum windshield with mounting hardware (good shape); non BMW top case with the mounting platform for use with rear gear rack (has its own key); handlebar risers that have been installed (the original shorter length handlebar bolts are included and are in the tool pouch for use when risers are not installed); throttle lock is included and has been installed; Major service preformed at 28. 00 miles - new throttle cables. fluids change. spline grease. circlip installed for precautionary measures on the transmission output shaft. and more. There is a bit of rust and a few minor scratches/paint peals and the like on a few parts -- e. g. . certain muffler parts of the bike. bottom of rear fender. and the pipes out of the engine are off color. See the pictures. Please note that the odometer reading on the title that I received in 1999 is 12. 00 miles. but I recently noticed and for reasons that are unknown to me. that there is an odometer code of "1" on the title. and the title says "MILEAGE EXCEEDS THE MECHANICAL LIMITS. " According to the PA Dot web site. the 1 stands for "exceeds the mechanical limits. and the site gives this explanation: "When the mileage is over the odometer's mechanical limits (odometer only records the last five digits of the actual mileage and the odometer has "rolled over"). record the mileage reading as displayed on the odometer and check the "Reflects the amount of mileage in excess of its mechanical limits" block. The mileage listed will be recorded on the vehicle record and an odometer status code "1" will be listed on the Pennsylvania Certificate of Title to indicate the mileage is in excess of mechanical limits. " I have no knowledge or understanding that the mileage is anything other than as stated on the speedometer 31. 99 miles - and assume that in 1999 the tag company or I made an error by checking the block or PA DOT made an error when the title was transferred to me in 1999. If this is an issue for you in any respect. please do not bid or buy. or come and inspect the PD before bidding. as I do not want anyone to be uncomfortable. and I do not want a hassle now or down the road.
