1967 BMW R60/2 fully restored, 1 mile

After 22 years of  joyous ownership I am selling a 1967 BMW R60/2 with vin # 629962. The BMW archive in Munchen confirmed this R60/2 was produced 05-13-1966 and shipped 06-03-1966to USA Importer Butler & Smith. Inc. this communication will go with the bike. Bike is however titled as a 1967. All numbers match: frame. engine and id-plate. BMW assigned the 620000 serial numbers to the R60 models and the 630000 serial numbers to the R50 models. This 629962 serial number is 38 numbers before they switched to the 181 pre-fix which happened during the 1966 model year. Odometer shows 00001 mile. bike was not used after restoration was completed. This R60/2 has its original Heinrich tank and a Denfeld solo seat. It has 2 high lip Weinmann alloy rims with new Continental tires and tubes. The Bing carbies are the original and correct ones and so is the air cleaner housing. It has an ‘S’ gearbox; ‘S’ is stamped near filler plug and a 32/8 rear drive. This BMW was completely restored by Perry Bushong with Perry’s Motorcycles and Sidecars formerly BMW of Fort-Worth. Engine was taken apart. new slingers. crankshaft checked. gearbox rebuild as needed. new clutch. driveshaft checked. rear-drive rebuild. original Bing’s rebuild. alloy rims relaced with stainless spokes. nipples and trued. both brake drums were honed and new brake liners were installed along with new bearings. New wiring harness. new pistons. cylinders honed. heads rebuild with new guides and valves. All cables were replaced with new ones. Magneto and electrical components were checked and replaced as needed. all new bearings in both forks and frame. VDO speedometer was restored by Palo Alto Speedometer. frame and both forks were powder coated. both fenders and tank were painted in the correct black with hand brush painted double white pinstripes. Pinstripes are hand painted on top of  paint and not covered by a clear coat. All new and correct exhaust system was installed with welded seams chrome over metal mufflers. The original bolts and nuts were cleaned and replated. All new rubbers and gaskets. No keys for tank or steering lock. a new matching tank-fork lock set is easily secured. I have a free and clear title in my name. Bike is sold AS-IS / WHERE-IS seller will assist with transport. This Ebay sale is not complete until a Bill of Sale is signed by buyer and seller.
