BSA B40 1965

This is one of the 1965 Home Office bikes. not the later army model. It was running when I bought it in 2008 but was in a bit of a state and it has been off the road for 20 years. It's had a lot of time and money spent on it. but after a house move four years ago it has just been standing in the garage under a blanket with the occasional oil down the cylinder and the engine turned over to keep it free. The mileage is low. I don't know if this is genuine but the old clutch plates weren't badly worn and it still has the original piston. but now with new rings. I have the V5C in my name. It does not need to be sorned as it's been off the road too long. Good pointsStripped back to bare metal. etch primed and re sprayed. Wheels re-built with new rims. spokes. tapes. tubes and tyres. A lot of new fittings. parts and chrome. Re-wired for 12v and has Boyer ignition. New seat cover. New piston rings. valves. guides and springs. New clutch plates and springs. Bad PointsSome marks on the paint from the house move and storage. Handlebars touch the tank on right turn. Needs some rubbers. battery. exhaust pipe. fork oil. petrol tap. Usual slight oil leak. I've tried to be honest about the bike but there may be bits I've missed. Viewing is welcome and I'll try and answer any questions.
