This is a 1952 Star Twin that has been in a friends garage for the last 25 years. Over this time it has undergone some restoration work including new engine bearings. a rewire with new loom. dynamo and magneto overhaul and many new parts. These include new speedo. chain. exhausts and silencers. grips & rubbers. plunger shrouds. some stainless parts ie front wheel spindle. rear brake rod. plunger top screws & several fixing bolts. Lack of funds & time halted work some time ago. The engine starts & runs. clutch is smooth & free and all gears are selectable. Tank looks OK but could do with re chroming. It has matching engine & frame numbers. a dating certificate from the BSA club and is registered with a V5. This should make an easy restoration project for someone.
