I purchased the Pan from the estate of the second owner which only had it a short time when he passed away from cancer. When I purchased thePan I looked up the original owner/purchaser that's still living and talked with him in long conversations. He had a BSA / Triumph Dealership in the late 50's and his Dad previously had the Indian Dealership in the Birmingham/Tuscaloosa Alabama area. That's the main reason the Pan has so few miles becausethey had their own show room full of motorcycles and he still has a couple that he ask me to come help him put back in the original crates, believe it was one BSA & one Triumph both older models with less than 100 miles on them. He and I would have long talks well I listened mostly to all the interestingstories about him running old Knuckleheads in the enduredirt/woods typeraces that he won often and I believe he said he still has some ofthe trophies. I'll also pass his phone number off to the purchaser of the Pan along with all the original paperwork I have.I know paint is a big factor for the old ones and the original owner told me that the only part of this bike that was everpainted except for nics touched up was from the rear hinge fender from the hinge down where his Dad got a piece of barb wire wrapped around it. I'm not a big buyer seller on here but the funds will have to clear the bank before this motorcycle goes anywhere. Please reply with any questions. I setup a gmail account for this at eztrade56@gmail.com but there is no trade for this only cash and it will have to be a cash transfer or cash the deposit can be paypal.
