Description

This is my BSA Bantam D7 engined trail / green lane bike. I'm not sure what make the frame is but the engine sits in nicely and there is plenty of ground clearance. The foot rests are too far forward for trials and would need to be repositioned if you fancy making it into a trials ride. I've owned the bike for 2 years. The previous lady owner had it for many years and used it for green laning on the Penines. there are a few old MOT certs with the bike the oldest being 1997. I bought the bike to ride at the Beamish event last year and managed to complete the course (120 miles). you can probably find a picture on the Beamish site if you scroll through.  I've ridden it very little since then and need to sell as I have other projects to work on. Its far from mint and I was planning a strip down this winter if I was to keep it. The brakes are pretty poor and although the motor runs fine I was planning to strip it and replace seals /bearings etc. The gears work fine. I fitted a Rex Caunt electronic ignition  (£250) and the lights work directly from this (no battery). The tank is a Wassell one and the front hub is an RH conical. The brake plate slot has been enlarged to fit the forks. I'm not sure what make the forks are. there is some pitting but not too bad (see pics). Rear shocks were new NJBs. new chain and front sprocket. Its got a little pit bike Mikuni carb on which was overflowing last time I rode it although it seems fine now. I can include the Amal that came with the bike if required.  Any questions please e-mail. £50 paypal deposit. balance cash please.
