BSA Bantam Trials B175 4 Speed Center Plug Head Rex Caunt Electronic Ignition

Re-listing this item due to an error on my part regarding the reserve price. This is a BSA Bantam Trials bike built from a B175 frame and a D175cc engine. The engine has a center plug head and has been fully rebuilt with trials gearing and Rex Caunt Trials spec electronic ignition and new Mikuni carb jetted for trials. The engine runs beautifully and selects all gears. New parts on the bike include Rental Bars. Domino Trials Twist Grip. Bar Grips. Front & Rear Mudguards. Fork Gaiters. Alloy Front Rim with SS spokes professionally built. Folding Kick Start. Trials folding foot rests. Front Tyre. Exhaust Nut. Drive Chain. SS Engine Bolt Set. Inner and Outer Cables. Break and Clutch leavers. Trials HD Clutch Springs all seals and gaskets including forks. (Full receipts for all items)The frame has been modified to increase the ground clearance. steepen the head angle and shorten the wheel base. This part of the bike is still a "work in progress" and as a result the bike is only rough painted in red smoothrite at the moment. The forks are original B175 heavy duty. they work ok but need to be fully refurbished. The yoke has been cobbled together and performs its function however would ideally be replaced. The rear shocks are from an AJS Stormer and are also a temporary feature pending finalisation of the frame set up. The exhaust is SS full bore and home fabricated finishing in an old alloy silencer. My plan was to build the bike in "rough" form use it for a while and then tweak the design depending on how it performed. The petrol tank is from a KLR and I intended to replace it with an alloy tank on completion of the final build out. I now however need to move house and will not have space or time to complete the final rebuild. The bike is fully functioning and usable. the engine is spot on however as indicated aspects of the project still need to be refined. Bike is sold with the original BSA tank and replacement tank badges if you want them. I have a trailer and can deliver within 100 mile if required (subject to full prior payment by paypal ).
