THIS IS A COMPETITION GOLDSTAR 500 BELIEVED ONE OF ONLY 4 BUILT BY THE WORKS/FACTORY FOR SIDECAR TRIALING. AS YOU CAN SEE. THERE ARE FIVE SPECIAL LUGS ON THE FRAME. I DO BELIEVE A WATSONIAN SIDECAR WAS USED BUT THERE IS NO SIDECAR WITH THIS BIKE. THERE ARE HOWEVER WATSONIAN TRIAL SIDECARS ABOUT. THE FRAME NUMBER STARTS WITH - CB34THE ENGINE NUMBER STARTS WITH - BB34 - WHICH ALSO MATCH ORIGINAL LOG BOOK IN 1957. THE UNUSUAL REG. NUMBER "500 ATO". THERE IS A CURRENT V5C AND THE NUMBER IS TRANSFERABLE. THE BIKE STARTS AND RUNS VERY WELL BUT AS YOU CAN SEE. SOME SMALL DINTS AND SCRATCHES. I AM NOT SURE IF RED IS THE ORIGINAL COLOUR? THERE IS A LUCAS WADER COMPETITION MAG. THE BIKE APPEARS VERY ORIGINAL AND GENERALLY IN GOOD CONDITION FOR AGE. THE ABOVE INFORMATION REGARDING THIS BIKE WAS PASSED ON TO ME BY THE PREVIOUS OWNER SO PLEASE DO YOUR OWN CHECKING. THERE ARE VARIOUS INFORMATION WEBSITES AVAILABLE. WOULD CONSIDER P. X. - VINTAGE BIKE SPARES OR UNFINISHED NORTON PROJECT ETC. ANY QUESTIONS. TRIAL OR INSPECTION ARE WELCOME - PHONE PHIL - 01691 650137/07811165320.
