I believe the 1972 360 RT-1 was YAMAHA's BIGGEST & MOST POWERFUL & Most Collectable Original Series 1969-73 ENDURO that YAMAHA Built up to 1974 !!!!! Please keep in mind the 1975's ENDURO 400's are worth only about HALF as much $$ as what a Original Series 1969-71 360 RT-1 ENDURO NADA.com Value Guides for !!! I was told by my local YAMAHA Dealer.

Keep in Mind the cost of ownership and Cost of Maintenance for a Vintage "Two Stroke" is "A Very Small Fraction" of what the equivalent ho hum four stroke engine would cost to own during it's lifetime !!!...These two stroke bikes are Famous for being SUPER SIMPLE and nearly all of it's Normal maintenance can be done without any of the four strokes typical "EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE & VERY Specialized Tools", s the COMPLEXITY and the level Skill required is also FAR LESS with a Two Stroke engine...I have a HUGE Collection of Vintage Bikes and "ALL are Air Cooled, Two Strokes...For Just that same Reason...Also, arts are "Very Available" for these YAMAHA ENDUROs thru YAMAHA Dealers, n ebay and Many other sites & YES ! ! Even the YAMAHA etc Dealers still sell Stock Many of the the parts for these First Generation MAGNIFICENT RT-1 360cc ENDURO's ! ! !


This bike has ALWAYS BEEN A SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA Bike !!! Which to collectors makes Her FAR More Desirable & Collectible (as we get almost no rain here at all, nly about 1 to 3 inches a year on average ...& in our area Most of the time not even that much) & the Temperatures & humidity are most of the time a "Museum Like" 65 - 75 degree F the Majority of the year.

......Again,These RT-1's & DT-1's are famous for: Always being a High Quality, uper Simple To Maintain, urabl, ELIABLE + EASY TO RID, UN, Go Most Any Where Bike" ...for families Around the World !!!
* * " Lucky You ".. can be the First New Owner Since this Bike has Just had a Beautiful Cosmetic Restoration ... This Wonderful Bike Starts Well & Runs GREAT Her Clutc, ontrol cables & Brakes All Work Great ! I had the Seat Professionally "Rebuilt from the Frame Up" and we disassembled this wonderful Bike & also Refinished most All of Her Main Components and reassembled her "by hand" Piece by Piece. She has BOTH Front and Rear "BRAND NEW" Dunlap Trials Universal Style re-issue import Tires That look just about Perfect to the Original Tires that would have came with a 1972 YAMAHA RT-1 ENDURO !
Again, his Magnificent Beauty Starts Great + Runs Amazing & Shifts thru the gears Excellent etc etc + all of her Control cables, rakes, lutch Etc Etc all seem to work Great as Well.

Her Prior owner had several bikes used her very rarely and after several years re-purposed her for off-road use but, s you can see I re-installed her Head Light, ail Light, Original YAMAHA Muffler with a working accessory baffle (I have a box of Blinker assemblies if the new owner wants them I will be glad to make sure you get four of them) etc etc etc ...The MAIN Thing is "Her MAIN Wire Loom is PRESENT" as are Her lights & are Installed etc are all present & look to be in good Shape. But, have not spent any time to figure out how to wire in the lights & for the tach+ speedo you will need cables etc to get them functioning etc.typically about $ 20 ea. on ebay I would have hooked everything up for street...But, thought there would be a HUGE Chance that this Wonderful Bike Would end up as a VINTAGE RACING or trail Bike ....So, Yes the lights etc are present & reinstalled but are not electrically etc connected & therefore,are therefore not functioning at this time.However Again, lease note the bikes Main Wire looms seem to be present (from the engine to the taillight & to the brake switch & under the tank & going up towards the Headlight area) Please see picture # 5 ..AGAIN...I have not spent any time trying to connect the lights as there is a very High Probability this Amazing bike may end up as a Vintage Motocross or FLAT TRACK Racing or Fun Trail Riding Bike?
