For sale is a 1967 Montesa Impala 250 sport.This is a fully restored motorcycle. Restoration done about 10 or 12 years ago. It has been ridden approximately 600 miles since restoration which includes a long week-end ride of about 400 miles in 3 days. Frame is powder coat. Paint, olish, hrome and upholstery is all professionally done. Everything has held up well except for the chrome on the exhaust. First time the exhaust got hot the chrome started to spall. I'm told the triple layer coper, ickel, hrome was not the correct procedure for an exhaust system. Even so it still looks pretty nice. Motor was completely gone thru at the time of restoration. Starts easily, uns well. With the right tickle it starts first or second kick from cold. All the electrical works. Everything is as correct as we could make it. Actual mileage is unknown.
If you are interested in this motorcycle you probably know what you are looking at but feel free to ask questions. This is a really fun Spanish motorcycle with a lot of history. Certainly on parr with a Bultaco Metralla but less common in the US. You can ride i, how it or add it to a collection.
