Description

Ive decided to put my '67 Triumph 650 up for sale. I am the 3rd owner of this bike, nditis one of my all time favorite motorcycles. Reason is: it has beautiful vintage styling, ut new enough whereyou don't have to be a mechanical engineer to own, t hasgood reliabilit, nd great performance even for two, n the small, indy road town where I live. Truth is, ts up for sale, ut I really don't care if it goes or not, ecause anyone who owns this bike is a lucky man (or woman). If you are interested in this bike, hope you have some knowledge of british bikes, ecause they're not for everyone. I prefer to sell this bike to a collector, r british bike lover. As I was once told, ou don't buy a british bike because you want to be bad ass....you buy one because you are already.

This bike is whatI would call a very presentable "Driver". It is not perfect. Although the Tank and fenders have the correct "Mist green" and "Alaskan white" colors, ith the correct paint sceme, realized after purchasing this bike that the gas tank is either aftermarket or has been repaired where the badge bolts to the tank. At one point the tank bung leaked and ruined the paint below the right badge and I never got around to touching it up. there is also a chip on the front fender about the size of a pea, nd a couple small chips on the edge of the rear fender that get covered up by the license plate. other than that the paint looks awesome. Recently I adjusted the valves, hanged all oils and went over the bike. This bike has always been a 1st kick bike maybe 2 if its really cold. bike goes to a perfect idle, o hickups, lenty of power. The rims are original Dunlop rims, hich I powder coated gloss black, long with the hubs, nd I spoked the wheels with buchanans stainless steel spokes. I do have a set of original Dunlop chrome wheels in beautiful condition if you prefer being completely original. Its got tapered steering bearing, ewer swingarm bushings and newer rear shocks. Bike is matching numbers

If you have never ridden a motorcycle-probably not the bike for you

If you have a bad hip, eg or ankle- Probably not the bike for you (kick start only)

If you don't like to tinker yourself, ave a friend who loves to tinker, r hate spending money to have someone tinker for you- Probably not the bike for you

Mechanically I have never had a problem with this bike. Doesn't leak oil. Gets tons of thumbs ups.
