Description

MINI RACE REPLICA MOTORCYCLESNOT ONE. OT TWO. UT THREE!MV AGUSTADUCATI AND MOTO GUZZIREPLICASVERY VERY RARE TO FIND ONE OF THESE NEVER MIND THREE!I've owned these lovely little motorcycles for many years. but the kids are all grown up and the bikes have been sitting on my garage wall as ornaments for years. gathering dust. so I thought now was the time to let them go to a new home. Over the next week. I'll clean out the carbs. put fresh fuel in and make sure all three are running and ready to use by the time the auction endsThe little "Moto Guzzi" was the first one I restored (many years ago) for my daughter. who wanted a bike that looked like Dad's. It was featured in numerous motorcycle publications. nbsp;Classic Bike Guide. oto Retro. otorcycle News. otorcycle Classics And even featured on the TV programme "Blue Peter"(With my ten year old daughter riding it. and yes. she got a Blue Peter badge!)In fact. t won me a years subscription to Motorcycle Classics as the best restoration featured!(Two months later. I went to work for the magazine as a motorcycle journalist and got the magazine for free anyway. oh well)It was also shown at the BMF Rally and the Italian Motorcycle Show at Donington (Forza Italia) where it got more attention than any other machine. The other two bikes came along a bit later. Yes. all the exhaust are connected and all work when the engine is running! The "MV Agusta" replica has a side standThe "Ducati" replica has a centre standThe "Moto Guzzi" replica has no stand(It's shown on a backrest from my Guzzi. and is not included in the sale)Only the "Guzzi" still has the fairing. but if you're any good with fibreglass. nbsp;it could be used as a mould to make fairings for the other two. The screen has cracks on the "Guzzi" but I may have some more curved Perspex in the garage. I will include it(If I can find it. )They are all lovely little machines and I'll be sad to se them go. If you research these little bikes you'll probably know that some were sold as MV Agustas (but not actually made by MV Agusta themselves)and are very collectible(There's one on ebay now. listing 181660546651. the seller want ?4. 00 for it. )One sold in Las Vegas in 2013 for $10. 00See link;http://myclassicmotorcycle. blogspot. co. uk/2013_01_01_archive. htmlI'm starting my listing off at a much lower price and with no reserve!HAPPY BIDDING!Please note. these are getting on for 40 years old. and have been used and loved. The new owner may want to restore them thoroughly but they are completely usable as they are. Winning bidder to pay a 10% deposit at auction endMany thanks. Please see my other items for more unusual motorbikes.
