AJS MATCHLESS MOD 30 1956 ( PROJECT) CLASSIC 600 TWIN

This is a very sound basis to rebuild - restore a British classic bike. This machine has been off the road for at least 10 -years but stored in  excellent conditions. As seen in the pictures it is in rolling condition. (helpstransportation). he engine loosely in place which turns over freely with compression.  All the tin ware is totally sound ready for prepping painting and or plating. The wheels have Dunlop rims the front is servicable with only slight surface rust in places. the rear has more surface rust but the rim is sound. both tyres are as new but bare in mind they have stood for quite a few years (out of sun light). The exhaust system (siamese) has been painted with high temp paint . the silencer is only so-so. I think the pictures demonstrate how close this bike is to being all there and encourage the winter restoration. There is a very good spares back-up for these machines with the owners club (JAMPOT) Andrew Eng ' AMC Classicspares and many more. You are welcome to view (recommended).
