Well known to collectors and Guzzisti, he rare V7 Sport is one of the first production "Cafe Racers". Designed by Master Engineer Lino Tonti, t features clip-on handlebars, long low seat, versize drum brakes, nd good performance and handling in a light naked bike.
This V7 Sport is one of the last with drum brakes, s the 1974 models had disk brakes on the front. Very stock, ncluding the shark-gill Silentium mufflers. K & N air filters replace the original air box.
Very good runner with a strong, mooth engine that always starts right up. I have owned this bike for 14 years, nd have never had any mechanical issues. The clutch is a bit grabby, ut does not slip. The 5-speed gear box shifts smooth and positive. The odometer shows almost 42,00 miles. I believe it is correct, ut cannot verify the true mileage. Fun bike to ride.
Cosmetically, he bike looks very good. It is an older repaint that shows well, nd all chrome is good with a few areas of very light pitting from age. The gas tank has been treated with POR 15, s it was starting to rust inside. Lost the key for the side boxes, o must open by turning tumbler with a screwdriver. Has a recent Odyssey premium battery. Great electrical system with no issues. Tires are over 10 years old, o should be replaced before riding aggressively.
