Description

Up for Sale is my 2000 Ducati 748RS. This bike is crazy clean. It looks brand new. This bike was the backup bike for a Ducati Race team. The Bike is California Street Legal with some hidden lights you can't see. This bike has little to no time on it. It has never been raced and has very little hours on it. Its in really really nice condition. I do not know a too much about this bike other than what I have said above. I can't find anything wrong with it and looks like a brand new bike. There is a small crack on the tail section in the white of the number plate. Its very hard to see and you can't take a picture of it. No other starches or chips or anything that I can find but will let you know if I find any. This was a display bike for me but was run often to keep it in running condition.
If you are looking for a 748RS you know how hard they are to find. But here is a little history on them just incase. It seems they made less 50 of these bikes. This is the most clean and untouched one I have seen.
Ducati made several versions of the 748, ut the ultimate—and rarest—was this748RSmodel. These delicate, arely-pictured machines were homologation specials; stripped-down versions of the street bike with lightweight bodywork, ace-only wiring looms and exposed cam belts. The engines were modified internally in line with FIM regulations, nd were supplied with extremely aggressive cam profiles. A sinuous 54mm lightweight Termignoni exhaust system completed the spec. THE PINK SLIP says 2000 but its a 2001. I will help buyer fix that but should not be a big deal, he bike Says 2001 on it so it was just a mistake.
Thanks

Update! I was asked for more pictures. Sorry they are flipped wrong. I did not take them and won't be at the bike till after the end.
I can't tell for sure but I think the tail is carbon fiber. It has a really nice paint job but I can't tell if the body work is stock carbon because its painted. The upper fairing is Sharkskins. All the other parts are carbon fiber, he air box, he front bracket and so on.
Like I said I don't know the history so this is just what I can tell on it. I have a few other Ducati's and it looks factory paint next to them.
