I bought this bike a few months ago to chop up and turn into a cafe racer. But now after getting it home and riding it and starting to strip it down I've decided. as a lover of all things Ducati. nbsp;it's too good of an example to chop up and should be kept original and so I have now bought a less desirable later shape 2001 900ss which is now in bits. ready for the angle grinder!

The sound from the after market carbon silencers in fantastic and the bike rides really well. Incredibly the bike still has the original Ducati tool kit under the seat. This is a sound investment. better than money in the bank.  The bike isn't perfect but it has clearly been very well maintained and extremely well loved. There is the usual flaked paint on the engine and some scratches here and there as you would expect from a 21 year old bike. Also the tank has been replaced at some point and has a couple of small dents and marks. The previous owner told me the original tank went porous and started to leak. These faults aside. this bike still looks stunning when parked up alongside a lot of modern machines.

The bike is HPI clear and comes with two keys. a stack of previous MOT certificates and parts and service receipts. current logbook and previous old style logbook and the original service book.
