2009 DUCATI 1198 S RED Trackbike

For sale is my 2009 Ducati 1198s currently in trackday trim . I bought the bike new in February 2009 and apart for 100 miles running in on the road it was turned into a track bike a week after purchase and has only been used on trackdays ever since . It was last serviced at Ducati Coventry and has not been used for more than a year due to various reasons so I have decided to put it up for sale and let someone else enjoy it .

The standard 1198s model comes with full Ohlins suspension front and back . 7 spoke lightweight forged Marchesini wheels and Ducati Traction Control (DTC ) as standard

The bike has got the following added on to it:

Brand new set of Dunlop Sportmax tyres front and back

Ohlin TTX rear shock (aftermarket upgrade ) . ront internals upgraded as well

Termignoni full 70 mm system with carbon end cans with db killers that bring the noise down to 101db for the "quiet " trackdays . normal is 105db without them .

After market levers and rearsets . lip up design to reduce crash damage

Accossat quickaction throttle

HM reverse (race) shift quickshifter

PC5 that has been set up by Complog Performance on their dyno

New battery

Performance airfilter fitted

Oil and oil filter  was changed at the beginning of spring every year

The bike naturally comes with all the roadkit to return the bike to a road bike . the road kit is pristine and all bubble wrapped and stored in boxes . ncluding the original exhaust system . I also have a spare set of track day fibreglass fairings in black for it as well that I am letting go with it .

All the paperwork is in order and all the keys are present .

The bike has never been dropped or crashed and stored inside with the battery on a maintain charger

I am selling the bike because I am no longer using it . I am open to all reasonable offers and would be more than willing to discuss any offers with you . I am however not prepared to give the bike away for next to nothing and do believe that you are getting a chance to own a classic Italian V twin superbike for a bargain price.
