Gilera rcr 50 same as smt or Derbi senda, spares or repair

For sale is a 2005 Gilera RCR 50 with 21. 00km on the clock. This is a geared 50 cc learner legal 2 stroke. It is the same as the Gilera SMT and the Derbi Senda. It was bought as a project for my son but was never completed. The bike was running until the throttle cable snapped. Most plastics have been prepared for painting or wraping. The wiring was in a terrible state with many connectors cut off. this has been repaired with solder an heat shrink. The bike needs a throttle cable. battery. clutch lever. fork seals and indicators. The key is present and works but the ignition lock has been damaged in the past and would benefit from a new lock set. This would make a great project for a 16 year old as a first bike or as a donor for another similar bike. You will need a trailer or van to collect it. There is no buy it now and the auction will run until the end.
