1962 Ironhead Sportster

'62 Sportster with matching numbers for sale with original Harley-Davidson 1959-69 Sportster Service Manual. Kicker. chain drive. RIGHT HAND SHIFT. highway pegs. Built before left hand shifting became the industry standard. Would make a nice restoration project or custom bobber/chopper build. just don't have the time or space to do it myself. Bike is not currently running. Last ran in 2006. but suffered no catastrophic engine failure. I can say for sure it needs fork seals. carb rebuild. electrical work. exhaust. and probably some gaskets. Brakes work. Tires in decent shape and hold air. but would recommend replacing them due to age . Been garage kept since 2005. hasn't been dropped since we've owned her. Comes with many additional parts/accessories such as a set of points. magneto rebuild parts. detachable passenger backrest. 2 small Harley brand bags. light covers. Live to Ride air cleaner cover. second 1-piece seat. extra kick-start lever. and an assortment of misc. parts that came with the bike when we bought it. $2300 OBO. price is negotiable.
