1983 HARLEY-DAVIDSON XR 1000 STREET TRACKER XR750

For auction is one 1983Harley-Davidson XR-1000 motorcycle as is and show sign and trophies. The title is free and clear and has been licensed and on the road for the last 8 years.This bike has had extensive modifications including Ohlins rear shocks Simmons front end Ohlinsadjustable steering damperBrembo 4 piston calipers all around(dual on front) EBC wave rotors custom Supertrapp exhaust ss exhaust aluminum tank and fender pro taper bars MSDprogrammable ignition dual coils four plughidden headlights and many more professionally made pieces.Then the motor which has around 125HP was totally freshened up about 15- 20 gallons ago has two Mikuni bored out flat slidecarbs on custom intakes feeding ported and polished dual plug heads whichhas newss valves and new seats and guides. This has the high compression .040" over racing pistons with new file fit rings. The flywheels and rods are polished and balanced withstock wheels but narrowed and lightened to exacting size and a keyedS@S drivepinion.Clutch has been highly modified as is theoiling system. This bike has won every show that it has entered and runs reliable and FAST.No mater where I have taken this machine in the past eight years there gathers a crowd around it no matter from what type of rider. I have built many of bikes but the speed and excitement of a Harley that can safely rev 8000RPM old school and stopis unmatched but to have ithave electric starthas been the sweetest.
