CONTACT JEFF AT 570 977 0741. Up for sale is a Classic Harley Davidson Panhead in a Harley Swingarm Frame. This is an old school outlaw custom built back in 1971 with complete 70's Patina from the days when chopping and customizing Panheads and molding and smoothing frames was the real deal and old school cool. This is a kickstart only bike. It is an original Panhead motor and driveline set in a 58-65 swingarm suspension frame. The bike was custom built at a bike shop back in 1971. Since it was custom built with parts from different bikes and a Harley frame that had been mildly customized by molding and smoothing, he bike was considered a "Custom Build" Similar to a car being referred to as a "Street Rod". The bike then got titled and registered with Pennsylvania back in 1971 with a "Special Plate". It received a reissued Vin# and Title#. As well as a 1971 "Reconstructed" Title. The year of the motorcycle is considered 1971 due to the date of titling. There is no motor #s and no frame #s. The numbers on the Pennsylvania Special plate trump any previous #s as far as Pennsylvania is concerned. Please refer to the very clear and legible photos that I have here of the Pennsylvania Special Plate and the photo of the Title to document this. This is a legal transferrable Pennsylvania title. Please take the time to look over all the photos here listed on this auction. What you see is what you get. No surprises. That is why there is pictures of everything. If you are looking for a numbers matching museum quality one owner original documented Panhead then this is not the bike for you. If you are looking for an Old School Custom Built 70's era Pan that is Loud Fast And Cool at a bargain price then please read on...To go over the bike front to back and top to bottom I will start with the front end. A Wide Glide front end was used with "Forking By Frank" front forks. Chrome upper and lower Triple Trees. A 21" spoke front wheel with dual disc braking. Brakes are original "Performance Machine" front brakes. The front end is topped with 18" apehanger bars. A "Performance Machine" master cylinder is used with matching brake lever. Grips are comfortable soft grips and mirrors are chrome custom mirrors. Headlight is a chrome 5-3/4" headlight with light visor. Tins are simple, lean and classic. Dark blue with thin line flames painted on the tank. Dark blue carries through on the front and rear fender. Paint is 44 years old and presents well. Yes you will find scratches and dings and touch ups on 44 year old paint. It was not painted yesterday. The rear hinged fender has a couple touch ups and hinge area shows some wear. Seat is an old Corbin flame seat that fits the bike well. The frame is painted the same dark blue as the bike. The frame has been smoothed, illed and molded in all the corners and edges. This was a very popular custom treatment done in the 70's and took untold amounts of hours and hours to complete this task and end up with a smoothed out frame. Rearend of bike has a chrome swingarm, hrome rear full coverage shocks, hrome fender struts, nd rear fender trim. Rear brake is an O.E. Harley juice brake unit. Motor is an original old school Panhead. It was rebuilt a few years back and has 5709 miles on it since the rebuild. Speedometer was replaced at the time of the rebuild and that is mileage shown on the Speedo. The refreshing of the motor consisted of high performance heads, igh compression pistons, ew rings and new gaskets. Motor is tastefully chromed out including chrome oil tank and chrome tool box. It has been upgraded with a 12-Volt electrical system including Cycle Electronics Generator, nd upgraded distributor. Bike fires up and runs very strong. Bike is also very loud. You need a good leg to kick this bike over. It is not a bike for beginners or novice riders at all. It does still retain the original style Mousetrap Clutch engagement system as well. Motor is setup with an S&S carb and true drag pipes. It has just received a fresh oil change with Harley 60W engine oil and gear oil in the trans. 2 Fresh spark plugs in the motor as well. I have keys for the ignition and tool box for the bike. Keep in mind that this an Old Harley, nd yes it will drip some oil on the ground. That is what old Harleys do. Yes you will fiddle with it, djust things, nd improve some things to your liking once you get the bike. That is the joy of old bikes. I have accurately and honestly described this bike to the best of my knowledge having serviced, ode, leaned and inspected the bike over and with conversation with the previous owner who had owned it for 24 years. There is museum quality pans priced well over double and triple what I have this bike priced at here. This bike is priced right and priced affordably. The title will be properly processed into the new owners name as well. Please check my 100% positive feedback and buy with confidence. Feel free to ask any and all questions. That way you pay for the bike, et the title processed into your name, nd leave with the bike and title. Again a Funds in hand purchase is the most accepted, referred and encouraged method of completing the sale. Any other method of payment will be discussed and approved by me first before completing the sale. Now to be crystal clear with any prospective buyer, his bike is sold in AS-IS condition with NO actual, mplied, xpressed or written warranty or guarantee of any kind whatsoever. If you have questions on the bike then you call me and make an appointment to come see it in person to answer any questions that you may have. Again I welcome and encourage the opportunity for an in person viewing of the bike. A local pickup of this bike is the easiest way to get it to your location. If a buyer needs shipping of the bike it will be their financial responsibility. To be crystal clear on this point as well, hipping is what it is. It is the cost of moving freight from point A to point B. I live in Pennsylvania. If you live 3000 miles away from me in California then it will probably cost quite a bit to ship the bike to you. This does not make my bike worth any less because you live far away. If you live 5 miles away from me does that mean my bike is worth more then? Of course not. So shipping is what it is. Shipping costs are not my burden and do not make my bike worth any less. I will be more than happy to assist the buyer if they need shipping in recommending previously used shippers. I will be more than happy to reasonably assist in the appointment set-up, ick-up and loading of the motorcycle. I am very easy to get along with and look forward to a pleasant easy transaction and putting a cool old school bike into someone's hands to enjoy. My contact # is at the top and bottom of this ad to make it very easy to get ahold of me with any questions or to set up an appointment to come see the bike. So lastly any questions, lease don't hesitate to CONTACT JEFF AT 570 977 0741. Thanks and good luck.
