1969 Harley XLCH Sportster original paint

This is an all original 1969 Harley-Davidson XLCH Sportster. This is an extremely rare bike to find in this all original condition. This is the last year for the magneto ignition Sportster. The bike is original paint Jetfire Orange. This is the same color HD used in their sales brochure for 1969.
It is totally showroom stock. It even has the original safety decal on the rear fender.
You wont find another one this original any time soon. Only the front tire has been changed but the original is included. Also included is the original speedometer, peedometer cable, nd mirror and small black buddy seat. The bike has been in storage since 1980. It has plenty of compression and the gas tank looks like new inside. It will fire right up. I am selling it "as is". You get the honor of bringing this bike back to life. I can get the bike running and serviced if necessary for the right deal. The speedometer shows 2847 miles but was removed from the bike an unknown time so the true miles are unknown. However, y looking at the bike you can see it has very low miles and the original tire is still on the bike. My best guess is the bike has 5000-6000 miles tops. XLCH's would always wear out the original tire by 5-6000 miles, ometimes much earlier depending upon the rider. The aluminum wheels are in great shape and still have the original bead lock screws in the rear wheel to keep the tire from spinning.
This is a true documented one owner bike. Included is the original title, ill of sale, MV registrations, wners manual, riginal start up instruction, nd sales brochure.
The bike was sold new by AD Farrow's in Ohio on 8/8/69 for $1870.72
