Chrome everything.10 g's in the motor. Needs stator winding. Questions - Ask. If it doesn't sell I think I will paint it flat black and call it old school-chopper-bobber and see if that works. Fact is that it is just an old shovel that needs some attention and leaks on the floor. I am going to attempt to clear up some questions about this bike. First, have owned it for 22 years. I suppose that makes me Vintage. The engine and frame have matching serial numbers. It has a clean title that is a 1978 FXS Low Rider.The frame is powder coated. The engine has a 96 inch S&S sidewinder kit in it. Originally built by S&S in the early '80's, nd redone since. Cylinders are 3 5/8 " S&S big bores. Crankshaf, Pistons, 14 camshaft, alve springs are all S&S. Valves are Manley, ifters are Riveria Velva Touch. The stock heads have been ported and polished.The ignition is a Crane HI 4 single fire with an accell single fire super coil, nd Thundervolt 50 plug wires.That is a 1 year old S&S Super E with a Yost power tube and K&N filter in it. You can see that it has a CCI hydraulic clutch release and I am almost certain the clutch has a Barnett extra plate Kevlar kit in it.The oil pump is very new. Ok, his list is probably not all but you get the gist of it. Now lets highlight the frame work some. Progressive 2" lowering kit in the Jammer Wide glide front. Progressive 11" shocks on the back hooked onto an adjustable swing arm. Clearanced for a 16-150 rear tire with the sprocket offset kit. 21' front dual disc.Those floor boards are peg mount on the forward controlls so they can easily be switched to pegs like they came. There is a set of really nice Harley Davidson Quick detach leather saddle bags from about the same era.I will Post a pic of the Bags with it when I get some time. The seat is a Saddlemen Explorer Gel Seat. I am sure this list is incomplete also but here again you get the idea. You must understand that when these things were Brand New they leaked, nd You may have to push them home.This one runs. The charging system is not charging the one year old Yuasa High Performance maint. free battery right now? I make a living turning wrenches. I have owned and been riding Harleys for 35 years. This is one of the nicest Shovels left on the Planet. It had it's picture in Easy Rider magazine in the '90's and won 1st place in JP Cycles bike show when I entered it once down in Anamosa. Thanks for looking. Any other Questions? Tony More Fun Facts- Those brake discs are all Mirror polished Stainless Steel and all oil and Brake lines are Russell. That tail light is one of those LED's. The handle bars are Ness and the tanks were sealed before painting. The windshield is a National Cycle. The chain is a Diamond Nickel plated. The mufflers are Cycle Shack that I put on a while back.
