1947 Harley Davidson FL "Knucklehead" Sport Solo, 74 cu. in. 4 speed

2,200 miles since restoration and judging 18 yrs ago. Antique Motorcycle Club of America WINNERS CIRCLEMotorcycle!! ( Junior First, enior, inners Circle ). Restoration was completed using lots of genuine Harley Davidson stuff, nbsp;including...fenders, as tanks, il tank, ycleRay headlight, ender light, ail light, ash, gnition switch, tewart Warner speedo, andlebars, elco horn, heels, ubs, ront & rear safety guards, ootboards with metal inserts, tc, tc. Sheet metal professionally finished in "Brilliant Black".Pair of Locktite saddle bags as shown are included.
Bike was lovingly restored as my personal rider. ( Yeah, know I just said "lovingly" restored, ..can't help it. ) Restored with emphasis on reliability as proven by overnight solo road trips to Wauseon, hio and to Edinboro, ennsylvania, rom home in Chesterland, hio.

Included with the bike is a copy of Harley Davidson's licensed coffee table book, Ride Free Forever. The Legend of Harley Davidson" (published 1998) which features this very same bike in a two page spread as the example of the iconic '47 Knucklehead on pages 176 & 177 !!
