1981 Harley FXS vintage style FLH Police BIke

This bike started out as a 1981 FXS. Numbers matching frame, ngine and registration. The last picture is how the bike started.

· FLH front end and fender

· new Pogo Seat setup (seat, bar and post)

· OEM 5 gallon tanks with AMF era tank decals added

· PanHead Round swingarm with new pivot pin and bearings

· Harley OEM Mid-Star (1966-1972) rear wheel with Juice Drum setup

· repop rear fender reworked to fit

· vintage OEM Beach bars

· new grips and throttle cable

· rebuilt S&S Super E carb with all new internals

· new electronic ignition

· repop vintage style taillight

· front wheel is a spoke wheel with a 1950's Pontiac Hubcap added (easily removed if desired)

The bike is a good head turrner and a rider, ot a perfect showbike. The paint on the fenders is rattle can and not perfect (3 coats primer, coats color and 2 coats of a dull clear). The speedomoeter cable was removed (I still have it and the spacer). Hi and low beam work. Stop light works off the rear brake.

I still have all of the original parts for the FXS that can be included if desired for a nominal additional cost (tanks, ag wheels, tock swingarm and banana caliper).

I have a clear Maine registration. Maine does not issue titles for bikes more than 15 years old. The registration and bill of sale WILL get you registered in your state. If you must have a title I can get it registered in Massachusetts however I will need to add $400 for the cost of tax and paperwork.
