-A little something about Servi-Cars in case ya didn't know what you were looking at:

The Servi-Car was designed during theGreat Depressionwhen Harley-Davidson was desperate to expand its product base to increase sales.Targeted at the automotive service industry, he vehicle was designed to be towed behind a car to be delivered to a customer; when the car was delivered at its destination, he driver would unhitch the Servi-Car and ride back to the garage.For this reason, t was available with a tow bar at the front and a large 60 Ah battery.

In addition to its intended use for car delivery and retrieval, he Servi-Car was also popular as a utility vehicle for small businesses and mobile vendors. They proved to be particularly popular with the police departments, ome of which still used Servi-Cars into the 1990s.

-This Servi was purchased by me out of New Mexico. The previous owner reported that he had spent $3,500 having the motor rebuilt by V-Twin back east. I tend to believe him as the bike runs amazing and is clean...a clean flathead, ho'd a thunk it? When I got it running again (battery, nd carb clean), he trans would kick out of second gear. After adjusting the linkage repeatedly to no avail, decided to open up the trans. I found second gear to be rounded on the shoulders and excessive wear on 99% of the moving parts. I literally replaced everything...EVERYTHING except the third gear main drive gear. This is a NEW transmission and it works great...even reverse. Like most flattys, he is cold blooded, o give her some time to warm up before you start out on your journey.

No regrets here guys (and gals)! This is a super solid runner. I have enjoyed the hell out of this trike and its time to move it on.
