Up for auction with no reserve is the first year of the SHOVELHEAD!! Very collectible showpiece!
1966 Shovel Head built by world renowned builder, eff Cochran of Speedking Racing! If you're familiar with Speedking, ou'll know that his bikes are perfection. This one has the drop seat frame for a comfortable ride. Custom built front end by Speedking. It's 4 speed new Revtech tranny with kicker and electric start. The frame and motor are original, verything is else is brand new! This is a hand clutch, oot shifter and has a new BDL narrow open belt drive. The tank is an original from a 1972 sportster with original decals, ut has HOK paint. This bike is a show piece!! This bike needs nothing. NOTHING! The engine starts easily, sually on first kick. It has good compression and is relatively mild as far as performance goes.
The bike it titled as a original harley davidson so tax, nsurance, tc is easy and cheap!! The title is clear georgia title.
As with most bikes of this age, he actual mileage is unknown.
This bike was expected to sell for more than $24k, ut I'm letting it go with no reserve.
