1981 Harley Davidson FXS 80 Lowrider Shovelhead Ultra Rare ORIGINAL SURVIVOR

1981 Harley Davidson FXS 80 Low rider. Shovelhead.There are very few of these bikes around. Not only is it rare, ut almost impossible to find one in nice, nrestored condition. These survivor type "vehicles", oth bikes and collector cars, ave become modern day art. MOST have been repainted, ltered, nd restored...in my opinion both motorcycles and carstotally lose appeal at that point.

Original maroon/burgundy/dark red and black factory paint. For being 35 years old still retains shine and very nice appearance. Has a few blemishes and the two minor dings in the tank...these could probably be removed by a dent doctor tech but I have not done this. There is nothing in the original appearance of this bike that in my opinion would warrant destroying its originality for a restoration.

The bike runs great, ith that deep throaty sound of a great Harley, ot like the new Evolution mousy sound. (Just my opinion.)

The original speedometer, achometer, nd housing are not on the bike but I have them and they go with the sale. The speedometer stopped at 18.345, nd the new one has about 100 miles on it.

Other extra parts and bonuses that go with the Harley;

Several chromed accessories and badging; to include the original battery tray and tail light lenses, uggage rack, tc.

Authentic, ot reproduction Harley Davidson leather saddlebags. Really pricey when new, ver 500 dollars.

Trike style leather seat, will throw this in with the sale as well.
