1947 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead Great Looking and Excellent Running Knuck

Up for Auction is really clean and nice Harley-Davidson Knucklehead. I am by no means a knuck expert! If I have incorrectly stated something in this ad please feel free to contact me and I will change the ad accordingly. Thank You!

This is a 1947 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead 74 Cubic Inch. I have a clean Michigan title. It is titled as 1947 Harley-Davidson. The motor is very clean and all there. This is one fantastic running Knuck. Would make a great daily rider for sure. The Engine on this bike runs very well and fires right up on first kick! The engine is complete and all original. I have included a picture of the cases to prove it. The transmission shifts smoothly and operates as it should as well the kicker. The carburetor is not original but it works flawlessly. The engine has been placed in a duo glide frame. The markings on the frame indicate a 58 part number. The frame and swing arm match and are in great condition. The tins are in great shape. The bike was repainted and done very nicely. The bike does have some minor bumps and bruises but overall I would say it is in great shape! A few small issues...The clutch seems a little grabby when you first take off. This may get better as ridden more as the bike has been sitting for about 3 years. Also the rear brakes do not work. I do not know if they just need a little work or maybe a new master cylinder. We are an authorized Harley Davidson. We have two stores in MI. I originally purchased this bike for myself to keep and ride as I have always wanted to own a knucklehead. At this time I have decided to try and sell it and let someone else enjoy it. The motorcycle sale will have to be run through the dealership. Your state sales tax laws will apply.
