1996 HARLEY DAVIDSON ELECTRA GLIDE CLASSIC, "A REAL CLASSIC"

This "Classic" has been mostly out on road trips collecting its miles. I know the owner who had it before me and he took good care with it. nbsp;and I have too.  The bike has been garaged which should be evident by the condition shown in the pictures.  The mileage shown is on todays date. 10/7.  Lots of chrome. I spend hours cleaning aluminum on my old shovel head. hrome wipes down fast and easy. This has been the best HD I've owned so far. I haven't had any major maintenance. especially when touring. On one road trip I stopped for tires. All the other maintenance was just done on schedule. When I store it for winter it hasn't been dripping oil. Did HD really stop that annoying tranny leak? I don't know. but this one has been tight. "How does it ride?". Smoooooooooth. This model has air ride suspension on both the front and rear. It's incredible at about 90 MPH. everything just seems to say this is what the bike wants to do. Sometimes it's just impossible to drive slow across these wide open desert highways. This model is also fuel injected. I haven't had any problems with it starting except when it needs a new battery. The engine is from the period when the evo was well developed and trouble free. Just a note. most people know that the desert is a good place for storing just about anything. I will deliver this bike free within a thousand miles. by a google maps route. Beyond that distance fees will be calculated and buyer will assume shipping costs. Origin. Salt Lake City. Utah. Delivery will be ASAP scheduled during a fair weather window for travel. It is noticeable that these tires are worn. both of the tires will be replaced and the rear brakes will be serviced before delivery. The front brakes are fine. One small dent on the back of the front fender from a hit from a tool bag. It's a cruiser big and heavy. not quick to get going. but it goes. When it's time to stop. it stops.  The engine still sounds fine and there is no apparent excessive engine smoke. I never have trouble letting go of cars. nbsp;but my bikes seem to be more personnel. I want to keep it. But. ow it can be yours. nbsp;the title is clear. seller assumes responsibility for title and transfer costs.
